Caught this error while trying to download my email at Gmail. It seems the secure certificate has expired.
No big deal for me. I’ve been living without SSL connections to all my primary email repository all these years, an expired cert wouldn’t trouble me.
I do think Google should use a self-signed SSL instead getting from Thawte (Verisign), if they insist to have one.

Getting more mobile phone viruses these days. Here is a sample of it incase you are curious: a Symbian based applet coming into my notebook and being captured. I am getting one every few minutes.
It has the following note in the .sis executable binary:
CommWarrior v1.0 (c) 2005 by e10d0r
CommWarrior is freeware product. You may freely distribute it in it’s original unmodified form.
Google on CommWarrior to be sure.
I have turned off bluetooth service on my hand phone, just getting too annoyed by these culprits – maybe that’s the idea, annoy everyone to hell, and just press “Yes” to accept the virus and install away.

Trapped in the lift just now, from 7:55 am for about 20 minutes. The ventilation still running, the lights still on, no horror.
But being trapped without knowing when can get out is a big mental torture.
I was holding my finger on the alarm button for no less than 5 minutes, and my wife took the picture to have some entertainment.

[Update: At 9:30 am when I need to go out, I have to take the stair - a long walk from 14th floor because only 1 lift in operation, and it raoms around not stopping]

Tinted Myvi today. It was quite a long process – 2 hours total.
It seems tinting business has become rather big these days with fading ozone. I remember those day we were so comfortable riding in a car WITHOUT air condition (wind blowing was a joy).
So what world would be in near future? We probably need to wear space suite to go outdoor pretty soon.
Maybe human skin tinting is going to be big business next. You heard that from me first ok?

A mobile Mykad bus is around Leisure Commerce Square today, the place I work. So I walk there to take my turn, only to find out that it was there for purpose – to serve the “staffs” in the Kurnia building.
So, I need to either kill a Kurnia staff for the name tag, or walk.
Since I am not that desperate, so I walked.
Is Kurnia fed up of having their staff applying leaves to go change Mykad? Or they are just so generous to their staffs?
See, my mom always tell me to work in a big cooperation for better benefits, see now I have to walk away from the bus – so near yet so far – because I don’t work in one of those gigantic cooperation.

Driving my Kancil again today after spending one whole week on Myvi. Can feel the different now.
Kancil steeling is heavier, pickup is lazier and a lot of noises. But Kancil still given me more confident on steeper corners – as I can make sharp turning in speed with ease. Myvi is a little “higher” feel, more body roll – maybe some after-market anti-roll bar would helps.
Also, a piece of plastic cover dropped off from bottom of the front passenger seat. No screw nothing, so I just push it back. Had a feeling that it’ll drop again.
The air filter is rather small, almost the size of the ice cube container that usually found in the refrigerator. I guess it all meant for space saving (cost cutting).
The gear shift is a little confuse while I was doing some rapid switch between the D and R in tight car park. I have to turn off the air-con in order to keep the engine down so that the move was more controllable. With the air-con on, the engine seems to rev higher and drive more aggressively – not really good while I was trying to back into a tight space – I need to do that slowly.
The other problem I have encountered was the gear panel. It only lightening up when the front light being turn on. Not so convenient in the car park, where insufficient lights get into the cabin. This can be easily fixed by getting an additional light that uses the 12V “cigarette” hole.
