Ever wonder why the ring time so short? I was having problem to answer my phone ever since I’ve “upgraded” my SIM card from the ordinary one to 3G. Whenever I reach the phone when it rings, the line got cut off.

So I rang up Celcom to ask about it (dial 1111). The robotic voice navigation system does not provide a clue on where I can obtain such information, and no option for me to talk to a human.

So I pick option 1, asking for my phone bill balance. It redirected me to a human finally. So I asked for my bill balance (which wasn’t my intension, but since that’s the only option given). Then I “by-the-way”, and asked for the option to extend my ring time.

The magic number is:
**61*17(last-7-digit-of-your-phone)**30#

So if your phone is 019-1234567, then all you need is to dial:
**61*171234567**30#

Fine with that, but still too short. I assumed the last digit “30″ here means 30 seconds? So I hack it up and constructed something like:

**61*171234567**60#

An error given. I tried 45 and even 90. No luck.
So I gave up.

On Thursday 4th May next month, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be:
01:02:03 04/05/06
This will not ever happen again.

I say “forget it lar”, this type of number popup ever now and than one. Like:
06:06:06 06/06/06
also coming what?

And you has passed one:
01/02/03 04:05:06
so what? did you concern about it that time?

Don’t forget, date/time is what human invented for stating date/time. Just a group of numbers, nothing fancy.

On Friday, left the office earlier as I was feeling funny in my head after coughing for a whole day.
Headed home, took a shower, sitting on sofa watching my kids play, feeling very cold on both hands and legs.

So I go into my room and with my blanket covered.

Then a cold attacked. It was a shivering experience. The cold attacked was rather hard, I was basically paralyzed in that hour. Later when I was finally being able to move, I put on more cloths and wear socks – the marble floor feel like icing cold for me.
I can hardly think, or walk in a straight line. When the cold attack gone, fever in. About 39.3 Celsius on the last test, and I gave-up testing after a while – afraid that my heat may spoil the thermometer (I can’t think straight, remember?).

My wife took me to the Chinese Medicine center in SS2, I can barely open my eyes during the ride, and I can only whisper to her instead of talking – so weak that I though my time is up.

It was a bad flu (not bird flu), but since I was insufficient sleeps for many days (taking care of my kids in the nights, as they both having flu and didn’t sleep well).
I though I was strong, but it seems those days are over.

When I was at home again that night, I can’t even eat a sandwich properly on my own, in the bed. My wife have to tear pieces and feed me like feeding a baby.

The dizziness gone slowly at about 1 am, having some very meaningless and frustrated dreams along the way. So I took 2 Panadol to kill off the pain and went to sleep finally.

Today I woke up in fresh. Feeling good again, but the brain power only restored afternoon.
I still cough a lot, and throwing greenish phlegm.

It wasn’t an experience that you want to take. Trust me.

A bad one, damn it.

I’ve just been to Carrefour at Subang Jaya around 5 PM yesterday (Saturday). They have some special events going, with DJ and some high powered amplifier around. Yes, really high powered, and tuned up to extremely loud.

How loud? I have to shout at my wife in order to have conversation – usually can accomplished by whispering.

The entire shopping complex has turn into a disco compound.
My complain to the staffs has no effect.

I am not sure how is this going to attract customers. Do they expect all the disco going people to shop at their complex?
If I have problem to talk comfortably, I’ll usually walked.
I am the kind of people that cannot go disco or even some of the pubs – the force of the noises shielded me at the entrance. I have very sensitive hearing, I just can’t take it.

Needless to say, we existed with much lower bill.
Sorry Carrefour, you lose.

Been to Sunway Pyramid just now with family. The air quality in the car park has greatly degraded since my last visit a few months ago.

The smoke released by car exhaust seems contaminated in the car park. It used to be quite “open”, the air circulate rather easily. But the car park now surrounded by many new buildings, very close together.

I’ve never experienced something quite like it. I think people may suffocated in within 5 minutes if they continue to stay in the car park. The smell of the unburned petrol are extremely strong.

I though the underground car park at Leisure Commerce Square was bad enough – dark, humid and warm. But at least the air quality in there may sustain a human life much longer.

I can still smell the unburned petrol – in my lung – after 3 hour back home. Damn it. People will sure going to die in there soon. Mark this down, you read it here first.
