It was about 11:40 AM, I was turning into Lowyat car park.
The car infront of me had a season parking, so she zoomed in without much delay.
When it came to my turn, I stop at the point where I need to get the entrance ticket, wind down the mirror, and noticed that the gate has opened.
The gate was supposed to be down. It can only open after I’ve press the ticket button, and fetch my ticket.
Something wasn’t right, but I’ve pressed the button to get the ticket anyway.
The machine refused to spew me a ticket. Again, a machine that has failed to serve a human.
I press the button again, no sign of the ticket, so I zoomed in without a ticket.
Then I went to their ticket counter immediately to tell them the problem.
They looked at the live CCTV, nothing wrong with the ticketing system, all the cars were following the rule: press-button, get-ticket, get-in.
One of their staffs even went out to look at me and the box that I was carrying, and said that “You just got in? And you have managed to do shopping already?” — she sounded like I was trying to cheat for a ticket. I was on my T-shirt and I didn’t even comb my hair. Crap.
She asked me why “didn’t you press the intercom and ask for the ticket?” — ya right,
I suggest them to playback the CCTV recording.
An old folk took down my car number and asked me to go shopping first because “the supervisor wasn’t around yet”.
So I went up and do my own business, and came back after an hour.
A lady said that they have checked the CCTV, and claimed that I didn’t press for the ticket.
I was like huh? Can I go to see that tape playback? This is hungry ghost month you know.
But she handed me a ticket nevertheless, and ask me to just paid up.
That’s fine for me. I don’t want to waste time arguing. So I paid up and left. Story ends here.
I dare to say their supervisor did not even check the CCTV.
There is definitely a loop-whole there in their system.
